Hi, I'm Billie. Adopt Me!

Longhaired Chihuahua Mix

Red and White

Adult, Female

Billie is a happy-go-lucky 1-year-old Chihuahua Mix that came to AFRP from San Jose Animal Care and Control as an injured stray. Most likely hit by a car, X-rays showed that Billie had a fractured hip and she underwent FHO surgery in March, 2021. While Billie was recovering in foster care, there were other physical symptoms that pointed to some other possible medical problems, and Billie had several diagnostic tests and bloodworm done to pinpoint her condition. It is very possible that she has a liver shunt, which means she could have another surgery in her future. Billie has a consultation with a specialist in late June 2021, and we will know more after that appointment. Thank you for helping this delightful little dog get the second chance she deserves.
