Hi, I'm Blueberry. I was adopted on July 25!

Shar-Pei Mix

Tan and Black

Baby, Female

Blueberry is a big bundle of puppy love! This 2-month-old, 15-pound Shar-Pei/Shepherd mix loves to play with her puppy friends and spend time with her people. She is one of 7 puppies raised in foster care after their mother came to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services as a pregnant stray. Blueberry has that adorable Shar-Pei wrinkly skin, and black and tan markings like a shepherd. She’s a very bright pup that learns quickly and is doing well with her potty training. We are guessing that Blueberry might weigh about 50 – 60 pounds as an adult dog. Blueberry gets along nicely with the adult dogs in her foster home, but has not had experience with cats. She is a typical puppy that can be vocal and mouthy, but she responds will to redirection. She’s looking for an adopter that can continue her training, take her to puppy obedience classes, and make her a part of the family. Due to her size and energy level, adult household or family with kids over age 8 preferred. Meet and greets can be arranged after your online application has been approved.

Due to COVID, preference is given to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County, CA.
