She’s an affectionate 4-year-old, 7-pound Chihuahua mix that has overcome a rough start in life after being rescued as a nursing mother from a hoarding situation in Bakersfield. Capri raised her puppies, and now that they have been adopted, it’s time for Capri to find her forever home too.

She is a sweet girl that loves to gaze into your eyes with absolute devotion! She’s a wonderful lap dog that enjoys cuddling and giving kisses, but also enjoys going for daily walks around the neighborhood. She gets along nicely with other dogs and cats, and she is not generally a barker. Because of her past life, Capri takes a minute to warm up to new people, but once she gets to know you she’s an affectionate little friend. She is potty trained to use a towel or potty pad in the house. She’ll do best in a calm household with an adopter that can continue to work with her and help her build confidence.
