Adoptable Pets > Cat > Merlin

Hi, I'm Merlin. I was adopted on September 17!

DSH

Brown Tabby

Adult, Male

Merlin is a 1-year-old brown tabby whose luck has finally turned around, just like magic! This friendly and affectionate boy (nicknamed Purrlin) came to AFRP from a local vet clinic after he was surrendered by his family when he suffered a badly broken hind leg. He underwent orthopedic surgery to pin his fracture, and after recovering in foster care, Merlin has healed and he’s ready to make up for lost time in a home of his own! This guy still behaves like a big kitten – he is very playful and full of silly mischief.  Merlin is used to spending lots of time on laps, and he’s a social cat that gets along with other friendly cats and dogs. He’ll do best with adults or a family with older kids. Merlin is currently in foster care and he’s available for meet and greets. The first step is to fill out our online application.

Please note: Due to COVID-19, preference is given to adopters in Monterey County or Santa Cruz County.
