Skye just wants to have fun! This 6-month-old, 48-pound blue-eyed pup wants to live each day to the fullest. She’s a friendly and affectionate dog that loves people and gets along great with other dogs. (Has not been tested with cats.) Skye loves playing with chew toys, stuffies, going for walks, playing games of fetch or simply sitting by your side for cuddles and petting. Currently in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services, Skye is a super smart dog that is doing well with her house training and has learned the commands sit, come and shake. She’s learning to walk on the leash without too much pulling, but she is very enthusiastic when she is out and about! Skye is looking for an adopter that can continue her formal training (required) and can make sure she gets plenty of vigorous exercise every day. She is good with kids but due to her size and energy level, children over age 8 would be best. Skye would live to join you for life’s adventures!
