Two Winks is a survivor! Rescued as a very sickly street kitten, this handsome boy is now 1 year old and he’s feeling great. Needing lots of vet care and medication around the clock as a young kitten, Two Winks earned his name because he could only stay awake for short periods while recovering. (See second photo.) Currently in foster care, Two Winks loves having a cat buddy to sleep with and groom. He is also fine with respectful dogs. Sadly, Two Winks is not fond of being touched or handled by humans – he has bad memories of being held for doses of nasty-tasting medication  – no fun! Now he avoids being held and petted at all costs. He’s looking for a situation where he can live a safe and independent life without demands or expectations. With time, patience, and plenty of treats, he may eventually learn to trust. It is very important that Two Winks have a cat buddy in his new home. Meet and greets can be arranged once an application is approved.
