With a happy smile for everyone he meets, Wade is a friendly 2-year-old, 37-pound Australian Cattle Dog that wants to live life to the fullest! Currently in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services, Wade has proven to be a very smart boy that quickly learned the commands sit and stay. He walks nicely on the leash though does pull a bit when he sees another dog, as he is excited to think that each dog he meets is a new friend or playmate! Wade is doing well with his house training wth frequent reminders. This active and playful dog loves chasing balls, toys or even flies! He needs plenty of daily exercise and would be a wonderful running partner. This sweet dog loves attention and once he’s tired he settles down nicely and loves to hang out with his people. True to his herding breed genes, Wade needs a home with no cats and no children, as he will try to herd and nip at heels. He would be the perfect match for a household with another playful dog buddy, or an adopter that can spend plenty of good quality time with him every day and can continue his training.  Previous breed experience is a plus.
